Business Challenge
Retail Pro POS systems used by supermarkets and restaurants in Dubai were operating offline at branch level. Business owners and management teams lacked centralized analytics, live sales visibility, and unified reporting across multiple stores. Manual report collection created delays in inventory decisions, revenue tracking, and operational monitoring.
The Solution
I designed and developed a custom SaaS analytics platform that extends existing Retail Pro POS installations with centralized reporting, inventory monitoring, and branch-level analytics. Secure synchronization services collect sales and inventory data from offline stores into a unified reporting platform, enabling business owners to monitor operations in real time without replacing their existing POS infrastructure.
Key Features
Multi-tenant SaaS dashboard architecture
Provides isolated database and UI spaces for individual retail brands. Allows brand super-admins to manage system sub-users and configure tenant settings without cross-brand data leaks.
Retail Pro POS offline sync integration
A secure synchronization daemon that fetches local XML/JSON databases from offline shop counters. Handles connectivity interruptions by queuing sync payloads until internet access is restored.
Real-time sales analytics dashboards
Translates raw POS logs into hourly sales charts and performance graphs. Used by supermarket managers to track store activity live and react to sudden demand peaks.
Multi-branch business monitoring
Aggregates multi-location retail data into a single corporate reporting view. Enables corporate owners to compare performance across various regions and outlets instantly.
Inventory tracking and reporting
Monitors current stock volumes across all sync points, alerting users to low-stock thresholds. Used by warehouse managers to plan logistics and inventory refills before stockouts occur.
